Default window troubles

my drivers door window rolled down and wont go up.
u can hear the motor when u use the button to try and roll it up and when u take the door panel u can see the cable tightens up and stops when its supposed to get to the top.

even when u push the window up the track it wont stay up, doesnt seem like the motor is bad, is there an additional track or anything i am not seeing?

Search for a post in the SC300 section by onelasttry or O.L.T.

He did a whole writeup on how the windows work with pics and there's some sort of plastic piece that breaks and he took pictures of that and he fixed it.

Same problem with my sis' car... on 3 windows.

Got all 3 regulators and changed them myself.

Yes. The motor attaches to the regulators and are sold separately at the dealership. Just take off your old motor and then attach it to the new regulator assembly.
