Tranny Question
I have a 93' GS3 and did a tranny swap with a 94' to match my engine swap i did with a 94'. Well the problem is when i place the tranny into the "L" low gear the indicator on the console and the dash indicate that i am in drive. Car shifts smooth runs good and when in low it seems like it shifts gears twice, which i think is what it is suppose to do. In "2" it shifts twice too but holds the gears longer.
My question is, i know on the later models 1st Gens the indicators are different and the tranny is 5-speed.

Those of you with 94'- 97 GS3s post how your indicators are arranged. Or if you know what the problem is please share. Everything runs fine, i just want it to say Low when i am in Low. The tranny was suppose to be from a 94' just trying to make sure there wasn't some type of mixup.

Thanks indypower and lexus4jess2 for your feedback. I posed a simple question, it is terrible that only 2 people responded
There must be a difference with the sensors on the 94 and 93 trannys, which is why my indicators default to "Drive" when i put it in "L".
Anyway , i will either figure it out or forget about it, since i never drive in "L" anyway. Thanks again you two
