I can't remember when exactly it got stuck but I've tried everything and that bastard just will not budge. Has anyone had there 12 disk changer get stuck before? What can I do (aside from taking it to the dealership) I don't know how much more radio I can tolerate

 

Don't take it to the dealer. If you can remove the whole unit, just take it to an electronic repair shop in your area. All cd changers are pretty much the same.

You can probably get it repaired for less than it would cost for a used ebay one. And you know how reliable electronics you buy on ebay are....

 

I had the same problem 4 years ago in my car. The dealer said I had to get a new one, but I decided not to. Not to long ago I search this forum and find out you can slide a card under the cartridge. There is a safety release latch that should make it pop out...I'm glad I didn't get a new one

hey i need help i have a 2002 gs 300 but the problem is that my 6 disk cd changer cartridge is stuck and i dont know how to pop it out if u do can u tell me how thanks

 

I have the same problem with the 6 CD changer in my 05 470. Did you ever get it out or does anyone know how?
