Okay, as Brian indicated its getting close to that time. Just wanted to get another head count on who will be able to make it and decide exactly where to meet everyone and at what time.

It will be great to finally meet up with some local CL members for a change. How does 1:00pm sound for July 26th? Location is still up in the air. I don't frequent Calhoun enough to know what lots are open that would accommodate all of us around that time on a Saturday. Anyone?

By the way, what does everyone drive? I got a black GS400.

A good parking spot, though its not on the lake - is the Calhoun Executive Center right there at the lake -
It has a large parking lot where we could meet up and the drive around and 'away' -

 

everything still a go. i finally decided to search for your user name tony, cause i had posted a response
in the old thread. long term weather forecast looks like we might end up ok for saturday. i'm not necessarily for the idea of the parking lot simply because i think we can possibly pull it off on the street
or even the beach parking lot. we can hammer this out over the next few days, but for the time being,
i was thinking about the first beach entrance that you would take if you were coming from uptown and
make the first left after you pass the lake. there's the first left, which means the concession stand is
on your right, and then the next left is what i'm referring to. i gotta get goin, but if noone else has
posted here, maybe we should pm kyle harty and some of the others and see whats goin on with them.

 

street parking is fine with me - it could be busy but we'll make it work -

I think I had mentioned 1pm as a good time for me - that works - but so does the evening - 6/7pm -

Why don't we meet up at the Executive Business Center to wait for everyone as Brian suggested and then drive on over to Calhoun to find a parking slot for all of us? 1pm looks good for me too so lets try to shoot for that time as well.

So far the count is 3 confirm. Anyone know who else is a go at this? Gotta be more MN Lexus owners on this board.

There doesn't seem to be a big group of people either. Three of us met at Caloun last Saturday - had a good time -

We were thinking of meeting again late summer/fall before the snow flies -

Welcome aboard Carl! We are slowly building up our MN Lexus group and always looking for others who may be intrested in meeting. Lake Calhoun was a perfect spot to meet and be seen and maybe one day we'll have enough members to have a great line up of Lexus cars to cruise the lake.

As Brian mention, we are planning maybe one or two more meets before winter hits. Hope you can make the next one. As you probably already guess, this is the forum where we also hang out on CL for local members.

Now that I know we have some sort of "Great Lakes" group I'm in. Next meeting I'll be there! Lake Calhoun is sooo close to my house, no problem at all. I hope to see you all soon
