Im already under contract... so i cant get the 2-year price directly from Verizon unfortunately...

 

how long til you're eligible for upgrade? what phone are you using now if you don't mind saying?

 

I went back and forth with Verizon already regarding an early upgrade or discount. Im not due til March. I currently have an LG Spectrum, which i bought off eBay.. its acting up, they say it'll be fixed when the new android 4.0 update comes out, which we're still waiting for. They wont warranty the phone since its an eBay purchase (even though its under a year old according to the warranty start date data in the phone itself). So yea.. just lookin to buy a new one, and the S3 looks like something i could use for a while.

 

off topic. any reason why u prefer Galaxy S3 over iPhone 5 that will come out sometimes on Sept or later?

 

Well, ive always been an Android user. My wife has an iPhone 4, and i never really liked the interface much. Considering the costs of a new iPhone right now without a contract, i cant imagine what an iPhone 5 is going to cost outright...

 

Do you currently have unlimited data? If so, don't do an upgrade with VZW because you'll love that. They'll make you go to their share everything plans, which suck if you're a heavy data user.

I have a excellent shape Rezound if you're interested. Not using it. Was my wife's but ended up getting her a Razr Maxx off of craigslist for the awesome battery life.

 

I cant upgrade anyway, so it doesnt matter what plan i have... But i actually already have the share everything plan. I used to be a heavy data user, then i switched over to wifi at home, and wifi at work... so i dont use much anymore.

Let me know what youre looking to get for the Rezound.. and its condition/usage/accessories, etc.. if i cant find an S3, i may go that direction. Thanks

 

I'm actually a CSR Trainer for Verizon Wireless. Its gonna be hard to get a hold of the S3 under the 2 year price plan bro... If you have any other lines available for upgrade you can do what we call an alternate upgrade, however it will extend the contract on that specific line but not the one you are upgrading for so when the other person wants an upgrade they will have to wait until your line is ready to upgrade. Also, VZW Let you upgrade 20 months into your 24 month contract so you can always check "myverizon" to see when you are due for upgrade.
