Default Any Canadians on this board? (subj: other car makes)

Very rare sweet car for sale in Canda. This car is essentially a '95 Euro M5 but with a 4.0 liter V8 instead of the 340hp 3.8 liter //M engine that was never brought to the U.S. Killer price given the mileage. I have seen a couple of these that were supercharged. Not sure if it came with the big brakes that the Euro car had (in fact, I suspect it did not).

Nice car...but the '93-'95 engine had the nikasil problems

There is actually a '95 M5 for sale in Canada right now, with the 340hp engine. I saw it in Roundel a few days ago. Price was 25,500 IIRC + importation.

If the car has less than 100k miles, BMW will replace the block if there is a failure. In fact, often the car has already had it done.

Yes, I know the guy who sells the Euro M5's in Canada from our email list. It is not so easy to get them federalized for the U.S. No doubt the screaming six is way more fun than the 4.0 V8.

Yeah, but the block warranty was only for 6yrs/ 100K miles. Even if the car is well below 100K miles, its still way past 6 years. My dad had to get rid of his '95 740i a while back for that very reason.
