I decided to sell it as my college classes are really heavy from here on in, and I do not need any distractions. It is in mint condition. All of the excessories are included plus extras. What you will get is as follows. 360 Elite with 120 GB hard drive, wireless controller, Gold tipped HDMI cable, all AV cables, power source, internet wire, black wired headset(not pictured).

1. Urban camo vinyl skin for the tower(extremely clean and perfectly fitted)

are these prone to getting the infamous red rings too?

Im a Pc gamer dont really know about xbox, but I do want to play it for Forza, cause I already have ps3.

 

This one won't get the red ring. This unit is the newest next to the slim. I acually have Forza 2 with every car unlocked in the special edition of the game. No need to purchase other cars online. I'll include it for the same price.

 

All old models are prone to possibly get red ring. Many factors play into it, whether its poor ventilation, too much play time, or just a lemon from factory. Even the new ones which claim no red ring, have their own issue with overheating which leads to automated system shutdown.

To say that it won't ever red ring is false, but if its the one that was built close to the release of the new models, it is probably a 150watt system which LOWERS the chance of a red ring.

 

Man knows his stuff! That's why I always use the intercooler!

 

Red ring is really not a big deal, just an inconvenience. Microsoft extends the warranty on the older machines to 3 years from purchase date for red ring issue and if you're past the 3 year date - you just call customer service and they'll override your warranty and still fix it for free. I just got my repair back on my elite. Had mine for over 3 years, worked fine and then one day my games starting freezing and behold - 3 rings...But you can submit the repair request online - super fast. And now my machine is actually a 100% quieter, my old fan was LOUD...

Just thought I add this tid bit of info.....my rambling is over now - you may proceed.

 

All Xboxs will get the red rings.. Unless you Reball the GPU properly with 100% Solder, you will NEVER have a permanent fix. Trust me, i fix them Fans are no good. Its just the way their made, the biggest flaw is the casing ( its not flat ), and the DVD drive that sits on top of the GPU, big mistake. I've gotten 2010 Xbox 360's (Not Slim) with Red Ring issues already. Not Much, but a few.

 

So you have a BGA machine or are doing this by hand?

 

Yes i have a BGA machine. Aoyue 968 is what i use to Reflow 360's. I do not do reballing, to time consuming, and expensive.
