I just upgraded today to iphone4...the ppl at AT&T says no need for bumpers....apple fixed that problem on the newest phones.

I got mine last week as well, I ordered my Free Bumper from that Pick Your Case App or whatever, however they noted that they would stop after September, So if your bought your iPhone 4 After September does that mean the iPhone you got was fixed? Lol cuz i got mine like 2-3 days before the end of September, but i have no problems

Check to see if it has a transparent coating on the antenna metal when you get it. My friend told me its coated now and believes it was a silent fix. He just traded his original iPhone 4 with a brand new one and while I haven't inspected it closely to compare to mine, it seems to have a coating on it according to him.
