Not to many turbo'ed L/C's or LX470's in the US. We just finished a 99 LX470 a month or so ago. The LX470 is a little tighter fit with the hydrolic suspension and different headlights. It realy gets these heavy vehcles moving though. About 110 hp increase at the wheels @ 6 PSI !

They are very reliable. The weakest link is the connecting rods. There have been known failures at 400-450 wheel HP. The turbo kit can make as much as 500 whp but we generally set them up with lower boost levels for reliability. Other than that, the components are designed to be very durrable. The exhaust manifold, tubine housing and o2 housing are a high nickle cast (w/two piece manifold). The turbo is a Garrett GT series ball bearing unit that is possitioned low in the enging compartment for less under hood heat. The intercooler is bar and plate and the piping is mandrel bent steel and extra thick reinforced rubber. Tunning is achieved by two aditional injectors and tunned with the Perfect Power pigyback module.

We also have kits for the earlier L/C and LX450 (93-97) that work very well.

The turbo is a Garrett GT Series Ball Bearing T4 so parts availability in the US is not a problem. The manufacturer (AVO) considers the actual specs of the turbo to be proprietary to there company.
They have spent many hours sizing the turbo exactly for the aplication. Sorry.

I twisted AVO's arm a little bit. They said the kit uses a Garrett GT40/35 turbo. I hope this helps a bit.

Thanks
