Hey there fellow SC enthusiasts, last nite I got into a hit & run accident with a 2000 Chevrolet Malibu & the person fled. After the police report I noticed that my SC frame was bent so now that's done. Then the cop says "well if you want the police report you can come pick it up in 14 days if not good luck." The cop said that they would look for the car, then the tow truck guy says he's gonna hook me up with a price deal & charges me $255 for taking me like 1-2 miles to my crib I was furious. So when I woke up today I haven't heard nothing yet from the cops so I decided to look for the car myself, so I picked up my chic drove around for like 20-30 minutes & found it. So now when I call the cops they tell me with these exact words & with an attitude "oh why did you go look for it, you shouldn't of done that, that's our job not yours you crossed the line, how do you know that's even the car that was involved" & I'm like "I know what car it is because my aunt had one just like that & I know you guys aren't gonna be determined to look for the car because it's not priority matter nobody was shot/killed & I need to find them before they take it to a body shop." Then she just says to wait there that they will send someone when they can, that was at 1:28pm the cop the cop finally shows up at 4:30pm & tells me "oh that's not our problem that's FHP's case call them." I'm like "WTF are you kidding me you could've told me that over the phone instead if having me wait here for 3 hours."

 

i have a good lawyer if u need one... ok i should have started off with its good ur alive man especially if your frame bent. Anyhow i have a good lawyer... lol. Sorry for ur loss and just an fyi... if u give your insurance the license plate number of the person that hit u they should be able to handle it! Dont know u but still if u need anything let me know. i know a lot of ppl that can help u out with ur situation!!!

Yeah south Florida is full of deadbeats. Uninsured motorists, mostly Haitians, illegals and other beggars who should not have been let into the US, and Cops who forgot that in the US you are expected to work unlike in the socialist South American countries they mostly come from.

You I'd the right thing. I would have chased the mother ****er too and then called the FHP. FHP and MBPD are only serious police departments in Florida.

Thanks again though I ****ing love the way CL members stay together & help each other out right after the crash a CL member stopped & helped me by trying to get my car out of the middle of the road but we decided to leave it there for evidence. CL 4 LIFE!

hey man no problem... but yeah my lawyer is the *****. not suppose to talk about it but i really dont give a crap but im a cyclist and i was hit by some a$$$$$ who ran a red light. Still limping today but im in the middle of suing the crap out of him just because he tried to run and leave me to die!!! Didnt even want to call the cops even though he ran my phone over and i had no one to call an ambulance. ppl saw it happen and drove away. I hate people that cant live up to there responsibilities. You do something wrong and u should really stick around to accept ur consequences like a man! Miami drivers suck. Keep ur head up kid and ull see how everything always works out for the honest ppl in life. BTW my family owns a car dealership if u need another SC.

 

wow thats crazy man glad your ok tho. I swear I want a go pro cam in my car just so I can film how people drive on a daily commute -_- and dont give up do everything in your power to screw this guy

wow man sorry to hear and see that ironically before I bought my gs300 I owned a 99 ford escort and I was also in a hit and run by a chevy malibu on US and bird road they never caught the guy or nothing did you see what color it was I think the car that hit me back then was green or black it was night so I couldnt really tell.....anyway good luck on getting another SC hope for the best man
