Clocked at 201 MPH, Alpha tuned on E85!
Thank you Alpha, Victor, Sean, Justin, Myles and Scott for all the help getting the car ready, tuned and to and from the event!
The 201 MPH pass was 2-4 lbs less then what I run daily. I did not use race fuel at this even, I was on E85 the whole day. I'm sure we could have gone faster, but my primary goal was to take the car home in one piece and drive it on to the trailer, the 200 mile club is a welcomed bonus.
Sorry I missed meeting some of you at Towers on Friday and even at the even since I showed up late and had murphy's law following me everywhere...
Thanks again!
A pic of my car at the event:
A pic of my engine bay:
first pass the radar was of and it clocked 161mph, but we confirmed throught AEM logs I hit 186.
Second pass, sucked as I missed 5th gear and then redlined it.
Third pass, I shifted into 6th at 7800 and ran 189 on the radar (supposed to be calibrated at this point, but I did not log the pass)
Fourth pass, the vacuum line for the brake booster pops in 5th, not fun slowing from the 170 I got clocked at.
Fith pass, put the rev limiter to 9k and shifted at 8700, got clocked at 201 :-)

No. :-) I was blasting the radio though!
Do IT! you'll be happy!
As for specs, I've got a built motor with a worked head on shimless HKS 280 cams. I run a RPS billet tripple carbon clutch. Tripple in tank pumps on 1200 cc injectors.
I've signed up for the next even on Jan 3 ( http://www.milemarker-1.com/ ) and expect to a weldon 3205 with a controller installed along with some juice. I may have bigger injectors in place by then as well.
This run was done at around 750 WHP so we have plenty left before needing the juice or even more injector.
http://www.milemarker-1.com/ Go check it on Jan 3rd. If you see me or the car stop and say hi!
