dinh, didn't you say that your house could hold about 60 cars and plus you have a pool and a hot tub...

 

reggie , does it have to be on a sunday , can we not do this late saturday afternoon to acc everyone , so afterwards we could do so sort of cruise somewhere like los olas or better yet south beach

 

I actually prefer Sat because I love watching the NFL games on Sun. I like college football too but I can miss one weekend of college.

Problem is lot's people work on Sat and have asked for Sun meets. If the guys want Sat, that's cool w/me.

 

i suggest late sat start time around 4ish to accomodate those who work sat , that way we wont be roasting in the heat , we still have about 3.5hrs daylight for pics and stuff then we can organize finally a good cruise somewhere maybe to have a beer or 2 or something


last bbq you did was off the chain , but even in april which should be like oct weather we roasted , it was freaking hot , i dont know about you guys , i tend to not enjoy myself when i am sweating bullets and have to keep hydrating myself like every 30 sec,


just my suggestion for a late sat bbq /beer run ( i think lrd gets off work by 5p)

 

I agree with Ed,Sunday meets @ 8am & heat,are killer for some folks like me.I work 6 days a week.and have to get up early all week long.besides early Sunday,that means no PARTY Saturday nite.I work Mondays,I'm sure most of you do too.so we bbq Saturday,drive to Las olas,and continue to party.sleep all day Sunday...lol

 

No one has mentioned Markham Park what about there? I was there this past saturday for a Baby Shower and on Sunday for a Volkswagen get togother and both days the weather was nice and cool and had plenty of shade....

 

I'm the Sunday junkie also! So, Sat. works for me as well. Are we settled on a location? There's a couple of parks in Palm Bch. also. I'm down!!

 

If we go to PB we won't get anyone from the deep south to come. Broward is central.

yup, i definitely think it will be a way better turn out if you keep it on sunday... many people have off on sundays, and alot of people i know rather we going out then hanging around in a park with a bunch of dudes!

Some of us own or work in Family oriented businesses and saturday being the busiest day we cannot afford to lose work especially in this economy. so my pick is Sunday

 

i like Saturday better i usually need sunday to sleep and watch football. Saturday afternoon sounds real good there is day light usually until almost 8

 

Someone bring a TV and an inverter, we can tailgate out of someone's SUV! I might have an inverter but I don't know if it's enough to power maybe a 32"? Someone has to have a generator and TV we can use. LOL
