Default 12s?

All you guys with all this power most of us would lose in a 1/4 mile race to an n/a honda. That just isn't right.

While I'm all for building a badass cruiser (the reason I like the SC), making 500+whp and not being able to use it isn't much fun either.

All of you tonight where talking about racing each other, this win (or claimed win), that loss, that gentlemen's draw....here is an idea for another type of race....first to 12s.

I'll see you all at the track in October when the cool nights start to roll in...I'm sure Ed's clutch will be broken in by then

Alot of you just need to get a pair of supra tt rear wheels and puts some drag radials and 12s should be easy.

12's isn't as easy as we think it is unless your going to do like you said and put smaller rear wheels or drags but personally that would defeat the purpose. The SC's are heavy as hell and I know the GS is a little worst but I rather run with the car the way she normally sits. Some people put on drags and than start taking parts out like seats, spare tire, ect.... But the fun part is to make your car run 12's or 11's looking the same way she would if you were going to. A car show/meet. My car weighs 4450 lbs with me in it, heavy trunk, big *** wheels, and if I acheive hi- 12's I'm happy. If Jerome or Terry, or Big Dave run low-mid 11's on slicks it's cool but if they can break low-mid 12 or crack hi 11's on their 20's than wow!!! Cuz thats what you would see racing you typically on the streets.

Yeah I know what you mean. The last pbir event had 2 1GS with 2jzgtes. Both stock twins and stock intercoolers. Just boost turned up and nitrous on drag radials with full weight. Both ran 11s. One ran 11.2 and the other 11.8.

Adrian you ran a pretty good time last year january with the stock twins. And you ran you got on the car. If you would run your car with 18's or 19's you would've broke into the 12's that night

Run before you walk...most of you are running low 14s, high 13s...that is very far away from high 11s. My goal is 12s on the 19' boat anchors sitting on all 4 corners.

The power is the easy part...look at Jon's trap..119. Just learning how to drive the car and get it down the track is going to take practice at the track...hence more than 1 trip
