19" Wheel + Pothole = PWNED
So I hit a huge pothole the other day in Orlando and my rim and tire are garbage now. Assuming nothing else is damaged, I'm looking at $400 to replace the two. I'll still need an alignment done as one is over due and I'm sure that pothole didn't help either.
My question is, I've heard that the city will only pay for damages if it's been reported before and they didn't fix it. Do I have any chance at getting some money from Orange County? Thanks guys.
(Something tells me Wringo has an answer to this.)

You don't need anyone to tell you this... simple answer is NOPE. Even if you could some how get them to, it would take a long time and would prolly cost you some money for paper work and so on.

Meh...I was afraid someone would say that. Well, I submitted a question to the county, we'll see what happens.
And yes, I am kinda a ghost (SC pales in comparison to the bike in fun). I do need an upgrade, but the time just isn't right for a new car yet. Car payment, bike payment and house payment is more than I can handle right now. =P
