Default Is this rim fixable?

So I took a turn too fast last night. Hit a curb. Took a chunk of material off too.

You guys think the wheel fixing places can fix this:

Also hit me up if you have a front wheel from an 06-07 for sale. Thanks.

im sure it is fixable, but i wouldnt fix it if i were you since the integrity of the wheel is jeopardized .. if you decide to keep the OEM wheels, ive seen some used ones selling for ~150/piece in craigstlist

Like rookieIS said, I wouldn't get that fixed because now the structural integrity of the wheel has been compromised. If you get it fixed, you'll probably have issues later with balancing and stuff too.

BTW, if you hit the curb that hard, I would check your alignment and all that too. Looks like it was a pretty hard hit!

Thanks guys. Hot the curb going 50. I think the alignment is off. Vibrations when going 30+. Hopefully nothing structural.

x2

Buy another front wheel, transfer the tire and tpms over and do an alignment. Or its a great excuse to buy a new set of wheel

Ouch, you hit the curb going 50mph?

I'd get a new wheel for sure.

Are you still driving on that wheel? If so, stop it immediately!

Purchase a good, straight, used wheel off of ebay or locally.

GL!

The rim is NOT repairable... Buy a NEW or USED Straight Wheel....

Install the spare while you are waiting for it.... Do not wait for that tire to pop off..

I'm shocked it didn't pop on impact...

Haha. I was still driving on it. Went 70mph tonight. After alignment, still wobbles. Rim must be warped outta shape. I'll put the spare on. Thanks guys.

considering a chunk of weight fell off the wheel, I wouldn't be surprised your car wobbles. That's why people have their wheels balanced after getting tires mounted
