I'm just looking to see what kind of Lexus we have here in Jacksonville. I was going up to Sonic on Beach Blvd recently and met a guy with a 1JZ 300SC. Couple of IS300's as well.. anyone else out there?

 

my buddy has a 93 1jz sc and i have a 96 sc 5 speed na i haven't been to any meets and either has he but we were looking for one.

 

I never really hit up sonic....I'm more in the Mandarin area anyway, but I do head out to Town Center at times.

We really gotta get some of the lexus guys organized to come out with us up at Sonics and Sibling Rivalry. I've been tagging a bunch of good looking Lex, where are you guys at?

The best event we have locally is our Sibling Rivalry meet, its basically attended by every major model club/messageboard; from Scions to MR2's. We just have only had a hand full of Lexus cars show up and I'd like to see some more. I splurged this year out of my own pocket to get a 1-3 trophies for the Lexus guys, as the numbers have been only in the 6-10 range we have only had 1 trophy in the past.

Let me know if you guys are interested, Sonics has been a wash recently with rain the past couple times. Lets keep this thread alive and get some activity going here in Jax!

 

I'm moving up to JAX from Miami in August. I'm taking up my 05 SC430.

I saw two nice IS350's today.. gewwww I dunno who's they are, a white one on gateparkway and a black one on southside blvd.

Ah,, its not to bad man. We are actually really lucky here in Jacksonville, we have a local all Toyota regional event here downtown every year. Toyota gives us the funds and its been around 100-130+ cars for the past 4 years. I'd say that's pretty good for local


vboy and bobby - you guys ever go out to Sonics? We usually cruise from a Warehouse we gather at off Hood.

I have never been out there but use to pass by all the time when I lived right down the street. Theres always a whole lot of cars on Sat nights

Also can you guys refer me to a good windowing tinting shop? After 5 years the tint on the IS is starting to peel pretty bad on all 4 windows. Someone who does a good job for a good price because I dont plan on keeping the IS much longer, I have my eyes set on a GS350....

 

I'm usually puttin around in the Southside area...

I think there is a turbo'd SC in the Town Center that I drive by all the time.

 

going to Sonic's is the biggest "rice fest" in jacksonville. Bunch of young kids doing burnouts and stupid stuff until the cops kick them out.

If anyone decides to put together a lunch meet or something on the southside i'd be game for that. It would be great to meet some of the local lexus owners.
