Gotcha! So when someone says something different from your opinion, that person is afraid of saying what's on their mind. Makes a lot of sense.

He says the yoke isn't the part that is bad, its the buttons and the fact that the big screen is blocked by the yoke. To me, I interpret that its bad. I think he is scared to say it.

You're accusing Marques of being disingenuous which I think is unfair, everything I've watched from him tells me he says what he believes. What incentive does he have to lie? What is he afraid of?

If he is being intimidated he's say the yolk is the bestest thing ever.

tesla fans?

most people who drop 150 large on a car aren't about to say it sucks, plus marques is always pretty measured and polite and leaves his views open to change (smart).

He's being too polite this time. The Yoke steering is liveable but a round wheel would have been much better. Elon said today that there will not be a round option any time soon. Also, the Yoke would have been much better without the stupid haptic controls on the wheel itself. They should have just had a small stalk to take care of basic things like turn signals.

The company that makes a round wheel with stalks will make a fortune.

You'd be surprised at how large an aftermarket the Tesla has. We'll have a friendly bet that something comes out in next year as that yoke looks painful to live with Also, remember that the regular LR model is also getting the Yoke. I expect all Model X will get it too.

its hard to see aftermarket screen swivels, wireless chargers, tempered screen protectors, vinyl wraps, suspension upgrades, etc etc. Not to mention all the aftermarket wheel options you get. Not everything is about blinged out huge wings on cars.

hmm. I doubt it’s 1% that actually modify the suspension.

A fairly decent number of Model 3 Performance owners have gotten the suspension done for track and autocross duties because the stock wasn't sufficient. Thats my point. If the Yoke isn't liked by many, a 3rd party solution will be made. I would say the majority of Model 3 owners put in a 3rd party wireless charger before it became a stock feature.
