Sometimes it’s good to be first, but sometimes it’s also good to last or later in a segment.
There are already some EQS owners on MB World that have had their cars leave them stranded, and the W223 has some significant teething issues too. Mercedes is not immune to these type of issues.

Have not paid attention. But yeah teething issues for sure. What I want to observe is what Happens when that EQS is out of warranty., I have no doubt Mercedes will be able handle things at that point.

These early bricked EQS models, are they back on the road real quick?

Mercedes hasn't yet determined the issue, they just kind of start working again

They have a 10 year, 100K mile warranties and most buyers of EQS would be in them 3 years before they move on. By the time these hit 100k, cheap battery swaps that take 10 minutes will be the norm. There are already a few startups working on this

LOL, yeah! This is where software really matters, and possibly you would want and IOS type software. My Polestar runs on Google Automotive (not to be mistaken with Google Auto) software, so cross my fingers!

Hopefully Microsoft never makes a car can you imagine the problems people would have each time a new service pack came out?

LOL I love Windows, it runs on our companies infrastructure and is mostly solid, but damn, when MS releases a bad update, it's bad! Last update caused our Domain Controllers running Server 2019 to keep rebooting. I had to uninstall the updated to get them to stabilize

That type of range is more than enough for 99.9 percent of people. You could drive from SF to San Diego with only one 30 minute stop

Yeah that range would do away with any range anxiety I have. I could drive it to WV no problem.
