Lawsuits don’t work that way. If I were to hazard an educated guess, I’d say you don’t seem to have much of an idea about process or about standing.

sometimes it’s better to sit things out than to make it obvious that you’re winging it.

It’s true, that was the basis for the lawsuit and the subsequent court judgement.

Says the guy that claimed I would never buy a Tesla.

Sorry. It was voted on. It was overwhelming approved. He fulfilled his obligation. For some judge to come in YEARS later, after the fact, and negate looks really bad.

I'm sure there are other folks in Delaware that realize that too. Don't be surprised if changes don't happen there soon. Too much money on the line for the state to allow the appearance of shenanigans.

I'm astonished you bought a Tesla. Makes no sense at all given everything you have said. You either were trolling with all of your protestations or you have done something that is just completely illogical.

Just because it was voted on doesn't mean that the vote was fair. This is why we have a judicial process for these things. A lawsuit was brought by a shareholder who argued that the deal was illegal since the board was under undue influence from Musk, and the court agreed. I have a client who is a financial lawyer who works with the SEC, and we were talking about this just the other day. The deal was 100% illegal.

well no, we just found it odd that a non-owner posted so often about battery failure and replacement cost concerns and then of all things not only goes against their own advice but bought used.

so the only questions to ask are did you not really believe the things you were constantly posting and were just trolling, or you did but bought anyway and used at that, which seems contrary to your body of work on the forum. Because neither seem to add up.

most of all, I do actually hope you enjoy it and I hope you realize your concerns were unfounded

Alternate viewpoint incoming... Lolol

Sometimes people make their best arguments against something to hear the best replies in rebuttal, in an effort to sort fact from fiction.

Complete speculation on my part, just a what if ideas... 🤓

Exactly, totally illogical. Remember all the crazy "I refuse to plug my car in when I park it, thats a terrible thing to have to do I could never imagine" and "I have a wonderful gas station that I love going to?"

The other car he rails against, the LS460 and LS500...its exactly the same as if he would have gone out and bought one of those lol

Some people actually do like something they think they shouldn't like and for whatever reason they try and resist it by pretending they hate it.

Its like a grade school kid who hits the girl he likes lol

And it took 6 years to figure that out and just happens to almost exactly coincide with him meeting all those goals?

Sorry, I don't buy it. With Elon being so polarizing and the activism when seen from the judiciary in recent history, it's a really bad look. Don't be surprised if Delaware loses a lot of business for this.

Lawsuits take a long time. You don't buy it because you don't understand how these judicial processes work. This suit was filed in 2018. Talk to some people in the finance and securities world if you know anybody...this was illegal, Musk and the board conspired to do this because the board was not independent of him the way the law requires them to be.

You're making this political when it isn't. We can't let people and companies do things that are illegal in order to "keep their business" lol. CEOs of publicly traded companies can't stack their boards with people who will do only what they want.

Plugging in is a pain. Tesla recommends leaving your car plugged it all the time when not in use. So now I have to plug and unplug every time I get in and out. And I can charge at work. But you aren't allowed to leave your car there all day plugged in, so I have to go move it. Which means I likely won't drive it there much. For me, charging is absolutely more of a pain and more planning than filling up with gas once every 2 weeks.

And I railed against the 460 because I owned one that was garbage. Service techs admitted to me that the 460 is problematic. I stated I would never buy a 500, and I won't. Ever. On the other hand, I directly stated long ago right here that I was going to buy a Plaid. Not because it is convenient. Not because it holds it's value. Not because it won't be a big battery expense in the future. But because it is a fast toy.

I don't know as much about EVs as you all do.

But, but, but no friggin wonder your wore out.

You're plugging it in for every minute your not driving it both at work and home.

You have good range on that car why you doing this? Lol

And bragging rights for being a Plaid is a plus, oh yeah. 🚀. 🛸

Makes zero sense why you would buy a Tesla lol

And you do not need to leave it plugged in when not driving it lol. That’s absurd. Plug it in when you need to charge it, you’re making plugging and unplugging complicated.
