^I was thinking of doing the same exact setup. Ideally a Miata ND but a bit pricey for being a 2nd fun car. So Miata NB is more likely. Not now but one day. That or E46 M3 convertible but then I'm bordering on luxury.. the M3 weighs the same as the ES... lol

yeah those rumors have existed for around a year now. even though... still an outdated chassis, outdated interior.

I have been a passenger in the IS in the past but I like the ES350 interior room compared to the IS. That's my opinion also.

That's not an opinion, that's fact. The ES has vastly larger interior room. The 3IS is smaller inside than a Honda Civic (objectively speaking). That's due to the RWD architecture which is a massive compromise to interior space.

This is why the ES has more combined legroom than the new Lexus LS.
