8ES launch!
According to some blogs, the 8ES is officially launched in the US.
The ES EV will arrive at dealer lots in April, and the HEV will follow in June.
The Lexus ES fully electric trims are now available to configure on the automaker’s website. On the base 350e Premium, there are six color options: Wavelength, Iridium, Ultra White, Cooper Crest, Caviar, and Cloudburst Gray. Only Caviar is standard, with the others going for between $500 and $595.
Standard black NuLuxe upholstery with Checkered trim can be upgraded to white or Palomino at no extra charge. This trim’s main upgrade is the $1,220 Convenience Package with a driver monitor, intuitive parking assist with auto braking, and front cross-traffic alert. At $375, a Cold Area Package adds a radiant knee heater, a windshield wiper de-icer, and headlamp washers.
The ES 350e Luxury gains semi-aniline leather and Bamboo Layering trim. It’s uniquely available with the $3,635 Executive Package, which includes:

I was set to buy the ES until I saw it! Ugh! Then I decided to keep my perfect running one owner (me) 2019 ES350 UL. And then use that money to get a near new 2025 SC 500 with 3K miles. The 471HP V8 SC500 10-Speed is a blast!

I can’t wait.
Check the build quality.
Thank you for the videos. This color would be my choice, it looks sick.
I don’t like:
1. The doors feel wobbly;
2. The rear glass don’t go all the way down;
3. When the rear shade is up you can’t see nothing on the rear view mirror/screen. They must put a hole in front of the camera;
4. The quality of the horizontal bar under the screen is low;
5. The upper part of the trunk in still uncovered;
6. The bamboo-less steering wheels looks cheap;
7. The plastic parts under the headlights must be painted in Caviar;
8. The gap between the hood and the fender is enormous;
9. No Luxury package with the hybrid powertrain;
10. The center console looks too narrow;
The VIN is still prototype VIN so I hope they will
address these issues.
