Default engine flush for high mileage cars?

I have 2024 Es 350 UL ,which so far has been a good investment. I also have an ES 300 2002 with over 200,000. miles .Being made entirely made in Japan might outlast my new ES.Still have 80 % of original parts and been a dependable car. My question is: should I consider an engine flush additive at my next oil change or would it cause the demise of this engine.Open to suggestions.

Does it have any issue?
I'd save the money an throw it at anything that legitimately age, like anything rubbery.

Don’t flush.
sometimes it’s the sludge and grime holding up the compression and preventing piston rings from leaking.

thanks for all the advice. No engine problems.Toyota dealer is only place I can find 5w30 regular oil designed for older cars. I made the mistake of switching my 2002 Solara over too synthetic and engine locked up not long after.

I wouldn't flush unless there's some other problem. I would just use high quality synthetic oil (I like Pennzoil Platinum. Mobil 1 is good as well).

At most, you could add half a can of seafoam to the crankcase before an oil change, drive for about 100 miles, then change the oil. You'll notice the oil will be a lot darker than normal. This will remove light levels of sludge, which is the most your engine should have if you've done consistent oil changes with good oil.

Even after I was advised not to...I performed flush on my '13 GS350 with 251k miles. Both my pickup tube screen and my oil filter were clogged within 10 minutes of starting the flush, resulting in low oil pressure.

How often in months and miles are you doing the oil service? Time is also very important especially if predominately city stop and go and not many miles over 6 or so months. What vis and brand oil are you using?

That is a lot of gunk, What are your oil change intervals by month and miles. The longest I had a car (85 Ford Thunderbird V8 5.0L) was about 250k miles, quality 10w -30 oil done with non syn at 3 to 4 months and near 3 to 4k miles mixed city and highway driving. No gunk like that and never flushed. If regular oil service usually no need to flush, they are very harsh chemicals

On my ES350 I change at about 6 to 8 mo with about 2k miles which ever comes 1st, 95% city stop and go so severe service, using Mobil 1 AFE 0w 20.
