Default 1 year anniversary

Hello Gents
In one month it will be one year since I got my ES300h UL. Some observations I made over that period and hopefully you can share your opinion on my concerns and course of action if any.
My heated steering wheel hardly heats up. I mean it gets warmer on high setting but the difference is not what I would expect. I have another car and the heated steering wheel while it takes time to get toasty it does get quit hot, nicely hot. My Lexus steering wheel warms up the best if I direct heat on it through the vents. No bueno.

The wind noise at the sunroof. Since its a 300h its not pano, just the traditional sunroof. When I bought the car(Brand new) there was zero noise. Over the months as I use it now and then I notice faint noise coming from the sunroof. It gets worse on windy days. It's not high pitch whistling noise but it's there. When I close the shade I can't hear it. I noticed this issue being discussed by many. Did you get any lasting resolution of the problem. Does the dealership helps with that or can potentially make it worse?

I also find road noise excessive. I live in Ontario and our roads are rather rough, meaning it's not a smooth asphalt. Maybe it's for better traction in the winter months. I have OEM Michelins Primacy mxm4. Maybe those are the culprits to some degree. Any of you northern midwesterners have an opinion on the matter?

Any similar concerns during your ownership experience? Resolutions?

Enjoy your summer

Cheers

In my 19, the heated seats and wheel get TOO hot. I generally turn them off after a few minutes. There is some adjustment I believe in the climate settings where you may be able to address that but I've never dug deep.

I don't have a heated steering, but for whatever worth; Are you in Eco mode? IIRC Eco mode also reduces power to the climate control system to minimize fuel consumption.

I've read other posts about this and apparently a Dealer or DIY adjustment will help. I'll have to pay closer attention to this next time as I think mine is very quiet.

Tires definitely play an important role on road noise specially as they wear. Also tire pressure (over/under from recommended) can affect road noise.
