Open the Lexus App on your phone
Touch the tiny "Head and Shoulders" icon, upper right
Touch the "Account" tab below your name
Tap "Security Settings"
Under Account PIN, touch "Reset PIN"
Compose a 6-digit PIN, Birthday, Anniversary...
Enter again to confirm
Next time you get the dash pop up, enter the newly minted PIN
I am no longer in possession of the smart device I used to link up with the ES. After some time it requested I log back in with the pin but it longer requests the pin and everything seems to work. Transparency of what is going on would be nice.
I have had my ES for over a year and have not had that PIN request pop up yet, but, after reading these posts, I went into the Lexus App and set a double-secret PIN, just in case.

Can you enter the steps needed using desktop PC to update the PIN? I do not have smart phone.
