Question Door Lock Pins

Does anyone know how to take off the door lock pins? Wanted to replace the factory ones with carbon fiber pins, but can't seem to figure out how to remove them. Rotated them anti-clockwise in an attempt to remove them and even tried to pull them off, but they didn't budge. Don't want to break them either, so any help would be appreciated

That would be a shame if you did that. It would look like a kid car. why not keep them stock? doesn't line up w/ the ES. lol maybe a used 1IS.

From what I recall you'd have to remove the door panel because the structure of the pin attaches from below. that's a lot of work for such a mod.

Nothing wrong with keeping them stock, but I have quite a few interior carbon fiber pieces and wanted to keep adding to it. Besides, one can never have too much carbon fiber. However, if I have to remove the door panel in order to replace them, I'd rather leave the stock pins as is. Thank you for your input.
