Default Sun Visor Speakers?

Are those tiny speakers in front of the Sun Visor? No one at the dealerships seems to know.

They are the microphones for the voice command system. See page 166 in your Nav & Multimedia System Manual. Can’t believe the dealership wouldn’t know that!

Thank You. The "dealerships" that I visited, even the service departments did not know.
I will definitely look at Page 166.

Thanks again.

Actually, they pointed to something else when I asked them where the microphone was. SMH.

Incredible. I always hear stories about wacky dealerships and thank god we have a good one here. They are the only one for about 400 miles, but they are knowledgeable and generally pretty good to work with. I did have the opportunity to show the technology expert a new trick when we picked up our car though (he wasn’t aware of the maintenance position of the windshield wipers). He trumped me by showing about 25 other tricks though.

Nice. The windshield wiper trick is a good one to know.

How do you put the wipers in maintenance position.

After you shut the car off, you have 45 seconds to push the wiper stalk to mist position. It will move the wipers to the “straight up” position and stop. Once you turn the car back on you have to move the wiper stalk to auto (or mist perhaps?) and they will retract to their normal position.
