I replaced a '16 GS350 Luxury with a '19 ES350 UL
Greetings from Atlanta!
I'm usually very cautious about buying a car during the first year after a redesign, but I pulled the trigger this afternoon! I got Atomic Silver/Flaxen with BSM, triple beam headlights, ML, pano roof, etc.
The '19 ES UL rides much better than the GS350 and LS460. I've owned a lot of cars . . . . this one is phenomenal!
I should mention that this afternoon there were only 4 ULs in the Atlanta metro area!

You got the same car that I bought and picked up yesterday! Hope you're enjoying yours as much as I am mine... Beautiful colors and soft leather. Congratulations and GOOD LUCK with the new wheels...

Love it.
"I'm usually very cautious about buying a car during the first year after a redesign"
I only buy vehicles in the first model year. So, for the entire 4.5 years I drive it, I have a "new" car. And when it's time to sell it, it's still a "new" car, not "oh, the last one, yeah, well, it's still worth something...".
I know that from an 80's US auto point of view, it's not safe to buy the first model year. So glad that advice has been invalid for a decade or two!
I was on the fence between Atomic Silver (yours) and Silver Lining Metallic (mine). A month later... still on the fence, and seeing either one on the web or in the wild causes me to say "Ooooohhhhhh" every time. So perhaps I needlessly obsessed over that point!

Interestingly, when I arrived at the first dealership yesterday I test drove a '16 LS460 fairly well equipped with only 6700 miles (the car was a lease return). I was unimpressed -- the '16 didn't ride/handle any better than my old one. The dealership was asking a firm $55,300 for the LS. I got my '19 ES UL from a competing dealership for considerably less than that.
