On 2019, the extender is much bigger than 2013.

Assuming it's like other Lexus models, you just need to leave the lights setting in AUTO. DRLs will come on when you release the parking brake/take it out of park. Side and rear markers are not part of the DRLs.

OMG. My eyes widened at those pictures. I saw a 2019 ES today in white, so stunning it knocked my head back, the whole thing just looks about as big as a 5 series.
I have a 7 series, and I'll be honest, new ES looks way better than the 5 series, looks more upscale. Even the interior is almost on par with the previous generation 7 series'.

That lighting looks terrific.

Does the ambient lighting still dim when you shift out of park?

Trac pad is just a learning curve, you will get used to it. I went to settings and took the speed off of normal and changed it to slow. That helps since its now not moving at warp speed but within a week i got better and better at placing the cursor where i actually want it.

Nice car and pictures, Calgold.
I would have liked the ambient lighting, but they don't offer that feature on the F Sport. I have the car a bit over a week, absorbing a lot of the nuances of the new technology.
Slowing the trac down worked well. Thanks.

Managed to get 2 "BRAKE!" warnings last week
First time it was in my garage...got too close to the wall and "BRAKE!" warning appeared and car braked by itself. The speed was about 2-3 MPH.
Second time, it was the highway. When I merged onto traffic from on ramp, got too close to a truck in front of me before moving to left lane. "Brake!" appeared and just before PCS got to work, I was in the other lane. This looked like false positive...
