Picked up my 2019 ES350 Ultra Lux- Pictures and Review

Just picked my 2019 Ultra luxury package...waited 4 weeks for the color combo I wanted (Atomic silver/ Chateau). Didn't get much discount. Dallas has always been a hot market for Lexus. I echo all positive reviews about ride quality, finish etc. My only gripe is the touch pad. I thought mouse controls on my 2013 ES was bad, until I tried the touch pad. Very poor decision on Lexus' part not to go with wheel design. Hopefully, it's just a learning curve.

If anyone has any questions or request for pictures etc., ask away :)

Very nice combo. This is the color for me.. Apparently the UL models are in short supply. My dealer didn't even have one... GOOD LUCK with the new wheels...
Can you post a photo of the Chateau interior?

congrats on the ride,
couple questions since you offered.

do the 14 way adjustable seats feel any different in comfort than the 12 way on other es models

and do you like the ML audio system or the other complaints that others have u agree with?

thanks and good luck with that beautiful color

Congrats on the car. Looks great! Did you get your passenger windows tinted?

Enjoy :)

Here you go!

14 way adjustable seat is better than 2013 Ultra Luxury version on 2 areas. Thigh support extends more and better snug fit for torso area.

ML- mid range has improved from previous model. However, low and high frequencies sound little muffled. Bass is not quite deep and treble is not as crispy. Overall, not a happy camper.

Yes, dealer did it as complimentary. Wish they had asked me for tint levels...

Stunning!!
Would you post a couple of photos of your interior? Thanks.

Few additional observations:
  • My cellphone in (S7 edge) used to fit completely in the door handle- not anymore- it sticks up quite a bit.
  • I liked the little tray in the center arm rest to keep keys, chapstick etc. It's gone in the new model.
  • And I used to keep 2 water bottles in that cubby which kept cold water cold for a long time. Now with wireless charger, it's going to be harder for 2 bottles.
  • Wish there was a lid for cup holder (closer to arm rest).

Any idea how to remove the dark spot in the middle?

On one of your interior pictures, is that a door lock "button" that I'm seeing toward the back of the interior door sill?

I'm not sure that I've seen those on any car in about 20 years.

Unfortunately you cannot disable that. The front facing camera has a fish-eye lens, its prone to glare from the sun and bright light pretty much all the time, which will make the camera unusable. It has the same purpose of a lens hood on a camera lens, also helps to break the image as objects appear closer in that area.

FYI: you can program your garage door to the home link system, if you did not already know this.
