I'm new to Lexus and I'm still trying to figure stuff out. I gather I need to use the Lexus App to set my home address for the Nav system. When I go into the app I select FIND, then DESTINATIONS, followed by HOME -Set Up. I enter my full address, including zip and press search but it doesn't do anything. It doesn't look like it even searches at all. I am able to search for POIs. Example: typing HOME brings up Home Depot, etc. But, typing in an address doesn't search at all. Am I missing something?
Also, how do I setup FAVORITES? I go to the Favorites screen and it has a greyed out EDIT button and no way to add anything.
I'm not sure what app you're talking about specifically or what your ES you have, however if you mean the navigation system in the vehicle and you have a 2022 or one with the same operating system then this video is the most thorough I have seen and probably has your answer.

What version of Lexus app are you using? Android or iOS/iPadOS?
Have you set up your Lexus account, signed in to your Lexus app, set up a primary user profile linked to your ES and the Lexus account you've signed into the Lexus app?
As to setting up a HOME address, when you start typing in the address don't you get an auto generated list of possible matching addresses that gets refined as you enter more characters of the address string? That's how it works on the iOS/iPadOS version of the Lexus app. Once the list gets refined to showing the desired address in the auto generated list, select that address to get a "DESTINATION DETAILS" panel with a map showing that address location, a "Save"/💼 control (that saves the address as the HOME location), a "Send to car" control, and addition address details.
The auto generating address list works for any of the "Search Destinations", "Search for your home address", or "Search for your work address" search fields. In addition tapping one or two times in an address search field will bring up an "AutoFill" or "Paste | AutoFill" popup tab. When "AutoFill" is selected it will bring up a "Contact | Passwords | Scan Text" popup menu which enables filling in the address from respectively you contacts list, password list, or camera scanned text.

The Lexus app's FAVORITES for your Lexus account linked user profile is auto populated from your ES's Lexus Interface Navigation destinations (by selecting the "Save"/♥︎ to save the destination as a Favorite) or from the Lexus app's user selected "Save"/♡ tab in the "DESTINATION DETAILS" for an individual destination address item in the "RECENTS" and "SENT TO CAR" address lists (if there are address entries in either of those lists). With the Lexus app's FAVORITES list, the "EDIT" control only allows deletion of entries from the list of FAVORITES for your Lexus account/user profile.

Based on edbro's past postings, I believe it is a 2025 ES he's working with that has the 2023 and later model years' Lexus Interface system. That system requires setting the Lexus Cloud Navigation system's HOME (and WORK) designation in the Lexus app.
Yes, I have a 2025 300h UL. The Lexus app is IOS based. When I start typing my address (11712 Lynnbrook), I get one hit on "11" named "1102 Bubble Tea and Coffee", obviously a POI. After typing the 3rd digit I get nothing. Typing the full address does nothing. I can't search for any manually added address.

For the first search try on an iPadOS Lexus app, I had to type up to 11712 Lynnbrook before I got a Texas address show up on the address list. (11712 Lynnbrook Dr, city name, TX, United States was the entry where city name was a specific Texas city.) Adaptive address learning changed the generation of potential addresses on subsequent trial address string entry on the 11712 Lynnbrook string but for the first try no Texas addresses showed up until all of 11712 Lynnbrook was entered. (If you have Location Services turned on for the Lexus app it may not take as much of the address string for the Texas address to show up on the list of potential addresses since the location of the iPhone will initially focus the address search list generation on the iPhones's physical location.)
Are you using the Contacts app and if so do you have yourself and address entered into the app? If so, you might try the "AutoFill" -> "Contact" -> choose your contact address to fill in the address search field. (If an address entered into a contact in the Contacts app can be interpreted as a valid address a miniature map will show beside the text address. When that miniature is selected the Maps app will open and the map will zoom to showing that location on the displayed map.)
Sometimes there's a slight variation in the address string Apple's map/location services uses for a location from that ordinary people commonly use for a location. (For example for my address, Apple Maps has an added W (for west) in my address and the vast majority of all uses of my address doesn't include the W.) If you want to verify what Apple Maps/location services prefers to use for the address string for your home's location, (assuming you have Location for Maps turned on) while at home open the Maps app and when the current location dot appears touch it and the address that Maps/location services uses for it will be displayed. Also, while your ES is parked at home and your ES is the app's displayed vehicle, when "Find" is selected the display should show a map with a "Last Parked Location" with a street and city address string toward the top of the map.
Hopefully, something from above will help in figuring out what's not working exactly right in getting the Home destination cet up in the Lexus app.
Thanks GRP52. I tried using the iPad OS app but had the same results; POIs only and no manual address. I do have my name in the contacts app and the address is valid and shows the miniature map. I’m typing the same address into the Lexus app. The app does show my home address as the last parked location and I’m typing in the identical address string.
I ended up contacting Lexus support. They acknowledge that there's a bug in the app. He had me temporarily turn Location Services permission to NEVER for the app. Then I was able to search for my address and save it. Afterwards, I turned location services back on.
I guess I'll have to do that every time I want to search for an address. Not a huge problem as I mainly use Apple Maps via CarPlay.
