Lexus provided me a loaner IS 300, silver with glazed caramel interior, coming from an all black interior in my ES the lighter color seemed bright, after a day or two it grew on me (Had the loaner for 4 days) when I got in my car (all black interior) it seemed dark, now I think I want to get an ES with palomino interior, but the atomic silver is no longer offered. Anyone else want a different color interior than what they have?
Not a fan of the new interior colors other than Acorn. The tan looks yellow-orange to me now. Been in various loaners now and have yet to like a current model tan interior. But hey obviously lots of people like the new tan.
Mine is black interior which I find more relaxing than my wife’s two tone red and black IS350 interior but that’s also cool.
Originally I wanted a Palomino or Red interior. But the only 2023 ES 300h Luxury they had was in Iridium (silver) exterior with Acron/blackwood interior. Never seen that color before, but I do really like that interior combo.

My only real color preference was I wanted to avoid a black interior, its just a bit dark for me, although very classy. Palomino is what the dealer had on the lot and I'm not regretting it, really gives a nice warm glow to the space, although as noted, it is brighter than what I would consider tan, but that's nothing some dirt and grime can't fix. I'd also enjoy an acorn or brown interior.
Along with limited interior colors, we have little trim choices either (non-F-Sport)- one color (palomino) gets the "open pore" walnut, macadamia can gets the bamboo, and the rest that cheap looking "open-pore black" (they don't even say wood, just whatever it is is black - looks like something made by IKEA). I have the palamino/walnut and it's not bad, and the bamboo has really grown on me, perhaps they've made it nicer for '24. But why they have become so limited in the material and the mixing is beyond me. While I don't like a black interior, for instance, it would look great with the walnut rather than "black whatever"; black on black is way too dark for my personal taste. Either way, they have the materials that are cut identically regardless of trim and could be swapped.
The acorn was the only one that appealed to me. I thought it had a nice two-tone effect. The macadamia looked good, but the thought of keeping it clean was the real downside. The palomino is too orange/peanut butter for me. I got the black as a compromise and it was plentiful. The black wood is absurd, but I don't really notice it much. I took a test drive in a palomino interior and the black seems more relaxing to me.
I don't think I have seen acorn other than in pictures, but in this brochure pic it looks more brown to me. But that probably varies depending on the color management system and the screen.
When we purchased our 2022 luxury the dealer had acorn. My wife said it looked to pinky to her.
We went with black, after having tan/cream colored interiors for years. I will say the black has a light grey headliner. We are very happy with it. The grey stitching on the seats and doors looks really nice.
Our 2022 NX has black with cream interior but the headliner is also black. Very dark inside.
