This jerky transmission thing is a serious mystery because my 2022 ES 350 F sport is smooth as butter, even when accelerating from a very slow crawl. The only time I feel the shifts is when I first start the car and it hasn’t warmed up but as soon as the car is up to temperature, it’s butter smooth.

Since delivery of my 2021, I felt roughness through the first few miles of driving each morning. I can’t decide if it’s transmission shifting roughness or engine roughness. I guess nothing can be done about either.
Everyone with 2019 - 2021 who has felt the harness from the transmission should ask for the "update" in your next service from Lexus to see if it help and let us know. I think there are only a small portions of 2019+ Lexus ES 350 that have this issue and it should be fixable by software... there is no way Toyota/Lexus make this horrible tranny at first place
