Default Headlight system malfunction

I played around with adjusting my triple beams Left to Right, Up and Down for both sides when I lowered my ES, and now back on stock springs.
This headlight system malfunction pops up on dash but it comes and goes. Something to do with the height sensor. Has it happened to anyone else? Want to avoid trips to dealership but
it seems like I might have to for this one. Also, my start up swivel now shoots up way more instead of just swiveling down and back up.
Anyone know a way to possibly reset the height sensor?

I’m sad to report that what works for GS IS and RC does not work for the 7th gen ES in the same way I found this out when trying to adjust the auto blinker setting (3, 5, 7 blink type deal) with the method used for said models. Also, I got a new battery, so that didn’t help reset anything either. I feel hopeless

Did you bust your height sensor when you slammed the car? perhaps its on the control arm. look underneath. try front drivers side or rear passengers side for a height sensor thats broken

I think I got it. It has three arms and when I went back to bolt the arm that connects to the sensor, it wasn’t seated properly —_— So it’s a little deformed and I had to file down the female seating. The importance of putting things back exactly as they were! As soon as I made that fix, the start up swivel came back to level.

Dealer changed my blink from three to five. It took all of two minutes.
