BMW tops Lexus
According to Consumer Reports BMW 3 series tops Lexus as most reliable luxury for 2023.

I mean 2023, BMW, Most reliable... they forgot to include at the end - "Source: trust me bro"
Maybe they forgot to put "maybe", "could be" or "perhaps" in the title LOL, but then anyone can do that for any car....
and I'm not saying 2023 Lexus IS is the most reliable one either... I don't know...
Consumer Reports is a panel of a couple of guys stating their opinion. J D power is nothing more than a marketing company surveying tens of thousands of owners of models at the three year mark of owning the car. Here Lexus for 2023 is #1 and BMW is #15. Lexus has been #1 22 out of the last 27 years. When not #1 spot #2 twice, #6 once, #4 once and #3 once. On sixth Lexus and not one problem.

Both the thread topic and motorbiscuit article are misleading (and click bait)
This not related to the overall brand CR reliability ratings, this specific bmw 3 series is just one of the CR “10 best cars of the year”. There are Lexus and Toyota vehicles in that list as well.
We’re now reading a post about a Motorbiscuit article quoting a USA Today article summarizing a consumer reports article. It’s become a game of “telephone”.
Since this topic has nothing to do with the 7th gen ES or really Lexus in general, closing.
