Default Sunroof rattle

Anyone have experience with this, or have some ideas for a diy fix? It’s CPO so I’m sure they’ll take care of it on my next maintenance trip but, y’know.

The rattle comes and goes, is present whether the sun shade is open or closed. I've tried pressing on anything I can reach while driving, but no dice. This video is with the glass closed but I’m not quite sure if it’s present with the glass open because of the wind noise.

EDIT: uuugghh....this thing won't let me upload my iphone video for some reason.
EDIT 2: Now it seems the video is attached. I dunno what the hell I'm doing, man. You guys tell me if the video/sound is working.

I don't hear a sound from my sunroof and it's also never been opened since I purchased the car in Dec 2018

on previous gens, including GS, the culprit is a loose/shrunken sunroof seal. may want to check that.

I actually did see a video on that but dismissed it for some reason - just figured it doesn't sound like a seal issue. Good stuff, thanks for that.

you should open the sunroof to at least keep the geartrain lubricated lol. also to clean out the metal where the sunroof sits. probably baked on rubber residue by now.

I'll try it later today - kind of nice out in the northeast. I hope it opens
