I think you're correct in that the light is blue for the ES300 vs. white for the 350. The photo is representative of the brightness which is bright. Do a Google search for the sills and see if any other dealer has them for less $$$. I got mine online at a dealer for $150.00 and installation was free (by me)... GOOD LUCK!

My car. Note there is a different part number for the white vs blue sills, order which one you prefer.

I put white ones on my hybrid. which is cool because not only does it look better, Lexus is no longer doing blue to identify 2023+ hybrids (at least on the outside, and at least with the ES) I wouldn't doubt it applies to everything including lights since the starter button is also back to the standard dark silver now. Would mean they don't need to offer blue sill lighting anymore too.

actually i'm curious if anyone's 2023 has a factory installed illuminated trunk sill on the hybrid and if they changed from blue to white. that's one part they would need to modify since it says ES300h in blue.

edit: lexus configurator shows blue sills, blue trunk for ES350... don't see white. weird.

You do have to remove the covers to access the receptacle for the sill plug. Use a plastic pry tool for auto interiors from Ebay or Harbor Freight.
The price was a special sale no longer available. If you do a search thru Google you may get lucky and find a dealer with a reduced price. I found the sale, printed it, and brought it to my dealer that matched the price...

Your projector logo lights look better than mine. More defined. Where did you get yours?

THANK YOU

So the real question is: How much should it cost in total to have illuminated doorsills installed?
Any info on the illuminated trunksill install?

Thanks again!

Don't know how much a dealer would charge, but I think it would be a lot for an easy job. It's really just removing existing sills, tucking in the wiring, removing the kick panels on both sides, and connecting the plugs... Took me less than 1 1/2 hours to complete. I would rate it a 3/5 difficulty...I didn't do the trunk...

In the "What are all the options available for the 2022 F Sport?" thread, see post #11 for the parts costs and post #15 for the dealer installation labor costs for a 30 December 2020 installation of illuminated door sills and illuminated truck sill on a 2019 ES 350 Ultra Luxury.

I got them from Aliexpress. I looked and the seller no longer sells them but they are available from other sellers. What I did when I was shopping was scroll down to the reviews area and look at actual posted photos of the product instead of the sellers photos. That way you can easily compare which ones are actually good and which ones aren't.
