Factory reset
I just picked up a 19 ES 300 Luxury and started personalizing it. Is there a Factory Reset to lose all the previous owners preferences and car learned preferences and get back to factory fresh, like resetting your phone? I think dealers can do it but I haven't seen anything where I can do it. They never reset the trip odometer or any trip information and I'm not sure how it was used but only 9600 miles in 3 years.

In Settings there is a button for "Delete Personal Information" which should be
used when selling/trading your car. Phone pairings, phone call logs, All Navigation
history, destinations, favorites are wiped out. A separate setting entry is "Restore
Defaults" which returns the car to the factory settings. This covers myriad features
such as how long the lights stay on, number of turn signal flashes, which doors unlock,
Navigation voice volume, button feedback sounds.
Congratulation on the new ride, the Luxury level ES has laminated front door glass.
Roll a front window down half way and feel the top edge, the groove you feel is the
laminate. Really helps with interior noise.

Check when your favorite FM station is playing for the HD icon to light up orange.
This indicates Hybrid Digital signal is acquired. Takes a second or two to switch from
the greyed out HD icon (station is sending it) to orange (you are getting it). The actual
radio benefits are nice, photo of the artist, track information, higher fidelity but the real
cool feature is the Traffic and Weather Channel updates that are carried to you.
Press the speech button and say "show weather forecast" or "show weather map"
Note: get in the habit of Not turning off the radio, just turn it down fully if you need quiet.
On the weather forecast screen you will see the note, As of 5 minutes ago. Shut off the
radio and it will soon say as of 24 hours ago. These updates can also come through your
Bluetooth paired phone if you are using the Lexus App. While that had a free trial for the
first 36 months it is not renewed with the L/Cert program so you may or may not have elected
to subscribe.
