Default Cranks but wont start

Hello, looking for guidance if anyone has encountered a similar issue. 2019 ES 250 with my interior rear light left on for few hours coupled with bad thunderstorms....I went to start car and car would just crank but not start. I have put new battery in car but that did not solve issue and the rear brake lights are now stuck on for some reason. Is there a relay that could be causing this issue? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

"turns over" is the same thing as "cranks". Cranks=crankshaft is turning the engine over.

Is it still under warranty by chance?

The brake light switch has nothing to do with this problem.

I think you should check the fuses and if watee got inside the electronics.

Wasn't the original warranty 48 months/50K miles? Mileage over? Just curious.

You mean ES350 - there was no 250 in 2019MY.

If there was water invasion, you'll also want to know why. Might also be worth checking the sunroof drains. On any car, they can cause water leaks when they get clogged with leaves and crud.
