Default Wiring from trunk

Has anyone run wiring from their trunk to the front of the car?
If so, can anyone give me some tips on how to do this?

I am trying to install an LED tail light bar, but I'm not sure how to run the wire for power.
I think the rear seat needs to be removed.

I've had two ES rears apart. There's about 4,400 holes leading to the cabin.

Pro tip: pop up the back seat bench (takes 2 seconds and two hands) and shine a flash light from the trunk into the cabin. You'll see all 4,400 holes. Use a coat hanger or just your fingers (like i did) to snake wires through and down the side. Child's play.

Wait, you don’t have any live 12V in the trunk?

So are you intending for the LED's to activate in conjunction with your brake lights? If so why not just tap into the brake light power... Have a friend apply the brakes and you use a meter to determine which wires give 12VDC and ground.

That's what I was initially thinking, but I got nervous since I'm not very knowledgeable on wiring.
I did buy some splicing clips just in case. I might just do that if routing through the trunk becomes too difficult.

whatever you do, you want to keep the wires as short as possible. avoid forest fires and all

Running aftermarket wires from rear to front is not fun. Certainly not removing rear seats. Fishing thru holes and all that crap. Tapping into existing power is easy peasy and much more efficient. Did the former in my younger days when installing stereos and rear speakers in my cars... '60 Dodge Dart convertible, '65 Ford Mustang convertible, '66 Corvette, etc.
