What Cabin Air Filter
Not finding much for aftermarket cabin Air Filters. Are people just buying the $55 Lexus (OEM) filter? Just changed my Engine Air Filter with a Wix.

For past Lexuses, I always go full professional OEM (and I say "OEM" in the full actual defined sense, and not the loose term 99.9% of forum bros use--sorry pet peeve)
For the CT200h they had them for $6 at RockAuto.
PS
Just checked my old school store Ive been using for a decade or more, Rock Auto, and they have carbon filters for as low as $6. Just checked and no OEM for ES. Soon maybe. But me personally, I may try that, but I likely would go Mahle (one of the finest filter brands the world has seen--they make products for BMW ///M) always the finest quality. Theirs for the ES is $19. For something you change once a year, I may just spend the extra bucks. Pretty much nothing is finer than Mahle. Wix may be OK, but I trust a company BMW contracts.

I agree - it just needs to catch leaves and pollen. In my neck of the woods (northern NJ), the filter is pretty much toast after six months. The Fall season kills it with debris and the Spring season with pollen. Reminds me it's time to change both mine and my wife's RX - they take the same filter.

Even if it's free of leaves, it can hold odors. I'd replace it... which reminds me my car is one year old now. =( so i should buy a filter.
but it's nothing like the Tesla biodefense system which is absolute bonkers. NASA-grade. makes our cars look like jokes when it comes to filtration!

They are $20 and takes five minutes to change. I replace once a year after pollen season is over. At the end of fall, I take it out and blow it the opposite direction of the air flow arrow and blow out all debris especially leaves. Then spray with a very light coat of non scent lysol and let dry and re-install.
