Looks like they changed or updated something. I get no tire pressure error, but now it tells me my subscription has expired yet again. This seems to happen when they update the app, I will get locked out for a few days. Its so frustrating....

Maybe I’m a bit bias because before the Toyota Lexus app I had Tesla for 6 years and their app was a thousand times better. My 2019 Mercedes Benz E300 had bugs in the Mercedes app too. It wouldn’t start with the remote start lots of times. It had a mind of its own. I also has a 2018 Dodge Challenger RT Scat Pack Wide Body and the app for that vehicle was flawless. It worked every time without any problems. I believe that the quality of the app depends which manufacturer you have. Mercedes Benz and Toyota together with Lexus have bugs in their app software. They need to hire better software engineers that graduated from MIT that have the know how to fix these bugs.

Which makes me wonder…do they actually fiddle with this in house, or is this some contracted service?

I think Toyota does everything in house, but it is a separate company or division, Toyota Connected Corporation or Toyota Media Service Corporation. From my experience in tech, when you have a separate company like this for software only as opposed to everything under one company, you have problems. Its harder to get something done if not only does the person not work for you but does not even get their paycheck from the same company. You start getting fiefdoms....

If you have a complaint about the app, please tell Toyota or Lexus directly. I did so after getting my RAV4 Prime. They phoned me back about the issue, so they do get the feedback if you provide it directly. If you complain here they aren't going to see it.

I was just about to ask about that. I was looking on the internet and couldn’t really find a support contact. Do you happen to have one ?

This was on the old app but I think there was a link in the app at that time. If not just use the general contact form on the Lexus.com website.

I haven't had any false alarms or issues. I didn't know there was a possible problem until someone mentioned it here then I received this notification.

I didn't received this notification but i am getting this bug when I go into the vehicle status page in the app. Hopefully it will be fix soon.

I got my new ES 359 2022 model 2 days ago and while in the dealer I installed the lexus App and immediately showed the error of the open trunk. Went to the car and opened and closed the trunk several times and still the same error. Finally unlocked the car in the app and locked it again and the message disappeared and has not returned.

I tried that step too. The bug is still there for me. Maybe it is a 2019 thing.

Same here on a 2022. I tried unlocking and locking and refreshing the app but still have the “trunk unlocked/open”
