Default Damaged Fsport wheel

Looks like I will be in the market for a wheel after being damaged by a pothole. Anyone have a go to place to get one for a decent price? I am going to see if I can repair this one but just in case looking for places to buy one at a discount.

Your local salvage/junkyard for one... Maybe you'll get lucky and find one. Worth a phone call. Save a lot of $$$.

GOOD LUCK!

Depending on the damage, a pro wheel shop may be able to repair it.

Depend on the wheel color, mine got damage, repaired but color is not match so they have to replace a brand new one.

Try eBay as well. You can find some good deals there too.

Can I ask how big of a pothole you hit and how hard to damage the wheel? Looking at my 21 F-Sport wheel I am always concerned even a minor one might cause damage 😂

I've hit some good ones here in the northeast and so far so good. They're tougher than they appear!

Phew! That's good to hear. OP must have been unlucky to have hit a nasty one fast.

Be more careful of curbrash. That's tough to avoid with these wheels if you get near curbs.

The issue with a pothole is if the rim gets crushed. I agree about curbrash, like my past problem with the automatic car wash on both driver's side rims. That was easily repaired, at a price.

Not as easy to repair a crush. Hopefully that won't be. I think Lexus retails is many hundreds of dollars.

I have never felt good about automatic car washes - just too much left for chance. Last time I took my CR-V to one I had a couple noticeable scratches on the driver side front door. Wondering how many people here feel comfortable taking their Lexus to an automatic car wash.

My ES has never been through one in three years of ownership. I wash it every week by hand weather permitting. I have though driven my wife's RX through several times over five years of ownership. She has zero tolerance for a dirty car when I can't hand wash. But never had an issue with the one I use.
