I was reading many reviews of Hybrid Ceramic sprays and came across the new Turtle Wax spray and it had great reviews. I needed to get a coat of something on the new car so figured I would give it a try. I was very pleased with the easy of installation and the intense shine the product provided. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a Hybrid Ceramic Spray.
I tried this product and found it difficult to remove once applied. Too many other good waxes and polishes out there that are easy on and easy off... I use Meguiar's show car wax. Doesn't last 6 months but close...
I have the same question with any product that has the word "ceramic." I lack experience with the ceramic products, but I've always read that the serious ones at least are very fussy if misapplied.
At my level of incompetence, I feel safer clinging to my NuFinish, confident that at least I can't make things worse. Am I just paranoid?
There are different types of ceramic products. The spray product likes the ones in the video is much more user friendly and forgiving. As long as you follow the instructions closely it is hard to screw up. The down side is it doesn't last as long. I use Turtle Wax Seal N Shine as a topper so it acts as a sacrificial layer on top of my ceramic coat.
I used it the last time I waxed our RX. Worked very well for me. Maguires might be just a little easier to apply though. Keep in mind, you have to apply 2 coats about 24 hours apart to get the claimed 6 months of protection.
