I searched but can't find.
Where are these 17 speakers all located?
Can some one show me?

 

With the exception of the subwoofer and dashboard all the other locations contains 2 component speakers (More like a mid range and tweeter) housed in a single unit.

These are (4) L/R Rear door panel, (4) L/R front top door panel (Behind the ML grille), (4) L/R front bottom panel, (2) L/R of dashboard, (2) Center speaker. (1) Subwoofer.

 

Ahhhh... Drove me bonkers.......

Yeah, "17 speakers" is a bit sneaky in that it doesn't mean anything like "17 locations." This and the "12 billion watts" claims everybody's makring are getting to be just a game of "mine's bigger." And everybody's doing it, for sure.

 

No wonder there's no sound from the rear. A few speakers there would have helped🤣🤣

 

Also contributing to the lack of sound from the rear is the placement of the two rear high and mid range frequency speaker locations - right next to the front seat backs which dampens any forward propagating audio energy.

 

I decided to take a video so you can hear what the ML sounds like (Spotify stream) and the car's noise isolation...
