I am having a white marks on my dash when I tries to clean or wipe it. Anyone know how to clean the right way? I saw this post back in 2018 and same problem with mine. Same area and same marks.
We have beaten the dead horse on this topic a while back. The dashboard materials is probably the weakest link on current generation of ES so it is very prone to scratching. Since it is a mechanical damage it can't be repaired with a chemical product. The best one can mask the appearance for sometimes.

Sad to say that Ionian is correct in that these marks are permanent. They don't go away and whatever material is used on the dash has been an issue since it was changed in 2019. I had a 2013 ES and the dash looked like new when I unloaded it in 2018. Very poor planning and materials for an area that is touched easily. And there's been many complaints by forum members.
Yep. Normal. Just be very cautious around the dash area.
Also yeah my 2015 CT F Sport looked world class new when I traded it in. The whole dash--you feel like you could cut it up with knives and just wipe it off. Nothing really affected it. Damn I miss the old Lexus quality on some of the parts.
The ES dash looks nice, but also very sensitive. So the quality appears nice but on the other hand it's prone to damage. Luckily I THINK the airbag cover is easily replaceable. I know the front part is where nearest your knees. Pops off easy. Likely expensive to replace though.
These links simply reiterate what this thread has; nothing works to remove scuffs and marks. As far as keeping your dash scratch and scuff free we're screwed...
In most areas, there are people who do repair work on auto interiors. If, for example, there is a scratch or gouge on an interior panel of a new car or used car, they can do repairs. With a scratch or gouge, they would fill the damaged area, match the grain, and spray the repaired area with a matching color.
With the kind of (minor) damage that is being reported here, that should be an easy repair for one of these guys. If you do a Google search, you should find people who do this kind of work in your area. In my area, there is franchise for a company called Color Glo. They work for the dealers in the area and rotate, much like the guys who do paintless dent removal, from one dealer to another through the month.
I'm sure that you could have the work done at your dealer when the person that does work for them is at their dealer, but, if you find out who does the work in your area and if you deal directly with that person, it should be a lot less expensive. The last time that I needed a repair to a vehicle's dash, I worked directly with the Color Glo guy who works in this area, and, if I remember correctly, he repaired a gouge for less than $50.
^you're talking apples and oranges. the stuff we're experiencing in the 2019+ ES isn't the same conventional deep cuts and gouge damage you're referring to. the stuff you pay guys to repair. my first 21 ES had major scuffs on the dash brand new out of the factory even, and the lexus dealer sent their top detailer to spend 2 hours on it. he did an OK job but you could still see the scar in the sunlight. my guess is he just buffed the crap out of it to blend. not much else you can do.
it's superficial marring that really can't be erased. stuff caused by rubbing your hand on the dash or maybe light rubbing with an object such as your windshield cover.
it can be blended to an extent but it's a problem with the material.

This is absolutely correct. It's the material that is so sensitive to touch and on my car I'm looking at scuffs that are 3 years old. I complained about this in 2018 and the SM put his "top" detailer on it. It didn't help... Silicone dressing will cover it but then disappears. Very poor on Lexus...
I wonder how many other Lexus models suffer from the same fate by using the same materials. I am guessing it will be re-used in other models in the line up.

Our 2017 RX seems to have the same material but it doesn't scuff nearly as bad.
The design exec who signed off on the easily scuffable/impossible to clean Gen 7 dash material should be canned or demoted to the mail room. That and the pathetic navigation are my biggest gripes with the current Lexus I otherwise love.
