Today I just drove 2 hr straight with family of 4. I forgot to switch to fresh air mode (since it defaults to internal recirculation mode), all of them fell asleep when I arrive.. lol.

I have 2019 ES300h and I think it was the model used for the testing in the previously mentioned article. I always leave it on automatic and never had any issues. I would be shocked if Lexus never looked into CO2 in their cabin during development and testing of the ES. They would have a major PR issue on their hands if it is beyond what is safe to humans.

I was hoping to make the ES even more quieter. lol.
I think the only other way to make it quieter is to get 215 pirelli P7 plus tires. What size are you running? most have 245 by 18"s.Originally Posted by Stillness

Hi E46CT, I got the Clarista app and ODB dongle, but I don't see where to disable ANC. Do you have instructions to navigate through the app to find it? I have a 2019 7ES.Originally Posted by E46CT
Through Carista you can disable it. that's all you can do with it.
I know you can un plug the connections at the amplifier (middle set of wires), or tap the sunroof open just enough, but would love to finally just disable it the right way through the app.
Thanks!

I checked out the Carista app and went with Techstream from eBay. It has a slightly tricky installation but has all the features from Carista app and does not have a subscription. I made the following changesOriginally Posted by Stillness
Hi All, new here. I have been reading this forum and I come across someone mentioning about this tool. can anyone advise if I can raise the ANC level (active noise canceling) thru this app? Also can I program it to change to fresh air mode every 20mins and then turn back to Recirculation?
1. Reduced the sound of turn signals to a minimum - didn't make much difference as per me
2. Stoped the rear shade to go down on reverse to save the life of the motor as it is unnecessary to see behind as everything is done on the screen
3. Stopped the seatbelt chime. Was really annoying
What I couldn't find or do yet is to disable the requirement to hold the steering while driving on the semi-auto pilot. If anyone knows how to achieve that, it would be great without any car mods.
