I might be losing my mind. This morning, the car started oddly. It was like the electronics didn't catch on first press. It started but the indicator said the alert systems weren't active.
That corrected a minute or two later. Now when I back up, the lines on the display don't curve as you turn. I thought it did. I tried the few options on the screen's 3 settings.
This was the last of the three. Is it time to turn in my driver's license?

With that display, you're in the "Parking assist guide line display mode" where the guide lines are static - the curved lines just "show the path of the smallest turn possible behind the vehicle". (Quoted text is from page 186 of the 2019 LEXUS ES 350 Navigation and Multimedia System Owner's Manual.)
Of the three possible display modes, there's only one - "Estimated course line display mode" - that has guide lines that move as you move the steering wheel. (See page 185 in the 2019 manual version.)
It's been 27 months, probably battery gave out on the F Sport.
I am on the miata forum as well and people mentioned of FL heat killing battery. 27 months is a good amount of time. If your car lives outside it is shorter.
The Lexus Roadside Surgeon came and jumped it. Now it's at the dealership getting a newie newie battery. Our cars are garaged, but yes Florida summer considerably shortens the life of a battery. The service rep said that I could have called and had a battery delivered and installed (under warranty) but that's no big deal as I asked her to do the 2 year service while they have it. Got an RX loaner for the night. They're going to reset the features that aren't working correctly.
When the battery dies it often kills the turning indicators. For future reference anyone else who happens upon this: you can attempt to fix it by Turning the wheel all the way to the left and holding it there a few seconds, then same to the right while in reverse.
After the car was jumped, and I was driving to Lexus, the only window that worked was the driver's side, the backup camera just displayed the basic grid, no drivers seat controls, etc..
Fortunately, all the settings I had, were remembered when the battery was replaced.
