I'm looking to install a Blackvue DR900X which has built in battery voltage cutoff. I'm trying to figure the cleanest way to install it. As mentioned in this thread fuse tapping would result in the fuse cover not fitting anymore which isn't the end of the world but also doesn't sit right with me lol.

The DR900X uses a 12v-24v so you'd be able to tap directly into the car's electrical system. I checked the mirror on my wife's es250 and there is both a constant and switched 12v source in the plug. You're gonna need a multi-meter to figure out which wires they are though. GL with the install, perhaps you can document the whole process?
