Default 2020 ES350 Interior Fuse Box

Thanks tike71. I'll check that out. But I need (2) fuse slots. Would you know another?

LOL, I realized that I don't need (2) constant Hot wires, just one. The other one I need to attach is an accessory fuse slot. I'll try this out tomorrow and find out. Thanks again.

Wow, you found the fuse box! I tried looking for it with a reflector mirror and torchlight, but could not locate it after the first try. Will try again when I am free

Very nice. The ES is very similar to the Avalon. I did a write up last year on how to hard wire a dash cam for those who are interested. I became a religious dash cam user after hearing so many stories of being liable for not at fault accidents just due to the other parties' word. It's amazing how people blame the other driver for an accident they caused.

I was talking with a Lexus technician yesterday and he mentioned that there are connectors in the A-pillar that can be used for the dashcam, and they do not need to access the fusebox for this. He will send me some photos of the next dashcam installation in an ES

Default Fuse Cover fix

Hey guy I installed my dashcam via fuse tap but I'm a bit concerned about the fuse box cover not being able to protect the fuse box since the tap sticks out. With the box is located above the footwell I'm a bit worried about water/snow getting in there with my boots since I live in Canada. Does anyone have a workaround for this?

Does parking mode still function with a mirror tap?

To be honest I do not pay attention to the Parking Mode. But, I believe it is supposed to function off of the camera's internal battery power.

Parking mode needs a constant power source to function properly; some mirror taps are constant on and some aren't. But in order for it to not completely drain your car battery you need to utilize a voltage cutoff device. Also most dashcams run on 5v so you'd need a 12v adapter as well.
