Trouble with Google maps navigation over Bluetooth
I've read all the troubleshooting steps Google provides to get the navigation to play sounds on your car speakers. I also went through all the Lexus menu options but I can't seem to get Google maps to play Navigation sounds through my speakers. Does it work for you? I have an Android phone.
It works on my wife's 2017 RX350 but can't figure it out on my 2019 ES350. TIA

You have to leave the car's radio on Bluetooth Audio as the source.
On an iPhone you can set the different map apps to "play as a bluetooth phone call". This let's you listen to regular radio and when a map direction comes in, the car treats it as a phone call and you'll hear the directions thru the car. Unfortunately, that's not how it works with Android.

I didn’t want to start a new thread for this, but thought it was related enough to put it here. We just picked up our new ES300h with the Nav package a few days ago and I have a Nav audio question. On our car the radio doesn’t lower when the built-in Nav gives a direction prompt. Is this normal? Other cars we’ve owned lower the music when a Nav prompt comes on and then raise the audio back up when the direction prompt is finished.
